How To - Mix Paste
Paste is a devastating way of fishing for carp, especially in the warmer months. It is the go-to hookbait for many commercial anglers, and here’s a step-by-step guide on how to mix the perfect paste.
Pouring the pellet paste
Pour the desired amount of pellet paste into the measurement tub and place it into a bait tub ready for mixing.
Adding water
Add water to the paste, using a 2 to 1 ratio of paste to water.
Mixing the paste
Mix thoroughly so all the paste is covered with water.
Soak the paste
Allow the paste around 20 - 30 minutes soaking time.
Perfect paste
Finally, you’ll have the perfect paste to mould around your hook.
