A set-up rod clipped up with either a bomb or feeder. |
Take one of the Distance Sticks and pierce the ground using the sharp spike on the base of the stick. Then, place the second stick into the ground, either 2 or 3m (bright orange 2 and 3M cord provided), away from the first stick currently in the ground, ensuring your chosen cord is tight.
Then, take the rod you have clipped up with, place the bomb or feeder at one of the sticks, and simply wrap around each stick using the backwind on your reel to peel off the line.
Once you have reached your clip, be sure to note how many wraps it took to reach the clip. Then simply wind back in this line and repeat the process for your other fishing/feeding rod. You'll be clipped up at the exact same position as your original fishing rod.
