A-Class Poles
The full range of A-Class poles explained in detail
The A-Class range of poles has been incredibly popular since its release and caters for those that require a more affordable option when it comes to pole fishing.
This range consists of five poles, from a short 5.5m Margin right through to a 13m pole, in Match or Power pack versions. All of which have been designed to cover a wide variety of fishing situations at an affordable price point.
All the A-class poles have been constructed using Zero 400 Tensile carbon, a super strong carbon that offers the perfect balance of durability, balance, and performance. We’ve used two different finishes on the A-Class pole range, ensuring the poles have optimum efficiency and performance.
The butt sections feature a Super Glide Paint Finish, for smoother control when shipping it, and a Friction Free Matt Tape Finish is used on the thinner sections, and combined, this significantly improves speed and efficiency, even during those tricky conditions when wet or sticky hands can slow you down.
A feature to improve stiffness and performance is the addition of the Guru Performance Point Alignment System. Once the points are aligned this stiffens up the spine of the carbon and ensures optimum pole performance.
The True Extensions are a major component of the A-Class pole range. These take the poles to the exact stated length. This is a key feature that we have transitioned over from our flagship Aventus pole range. These True Extensions are made using the same quality carbon construction and feature reinforced end sections for improved durability.
Finishing touches to the A-Class pole range include the addition of a perfectly placed carbon wrap for side bush assembly and fitted UK manufactured PTFE bushes, making these poles ready-to-fish when you purchase one.
Match, Match Power and Carp Power top kits are available so you can tailor your pole to whatever situation you are intending to use it in, and there is also a cupping cut which can be purchased separately, plus spare sections should you require them.
England International, Matt Godfrey, explained: “It is an absolute pleasure to be able to show, share and put the A-Class range of poles into angler’s hands! I know that they can enjoy fishing with them at whatever level it may be, from basic pleasure to high level match fishing, and they will be using a quality piece of kit that’s designed off the back of all the knowledge and development used to create our very top-end Aventus poles."
"The features, kit configurations and finishing touches are way beyond the price point of these weapons, and the price means they are accessible to so many people, not only enabling them to have a great pole but also loads of spares and accessories too, without breaking the bank!”
A Class 13m Match Pack
This is the longest pole in the range and packs a serious punch, but also has the stiff and responsive action that is needed with a longer pole.
It comes supplied with 11.5m and 13m True Extensions; two of the 3.5mm Match Top Kits; plus a Cupping Kit. It’s perfect for situations where you require finesse, as it has a thin tip and is suitable for elastics up to a No8 Yellow Hydro, making it ideal for silver fish.
A-Class 13m Power Pack
The A-Class 13m Power Pack is designed for situations where you are using heavier elastics to target larger fish, anything from F1s, fishing on natural venues, and right the way up to big carp on commercials.
It comes supplied with a 4.7mm Match Power Kit; along with two of the 5.8mm Carp Power Kits; plus 11.5m and 13m True Extensions; along with a Cupping Kit. This makes it suitable for even the most demanding situations where Red Hydro elastic is needed.
A-Class 11.5m Power Pack
The A-Class 11.5m Power Pack is the perfect choice when fishing on commercials and has a very responsive action, as well as having plenty of power when you need it, and comes supplied with plenty of Top Kit options. It great for fishing for anything from F1s right up to larger carp, where Red Hydro elastic is required.
It comes with an 11.5m True Extension; a 4.7mm Match Power Kit; two of the 5.8mm Carp Power Kits; and a Cupping Kit.
A-Class 9.5m Power Pack
This is in the middle of the range in terms of length and is a real all-rounder, as it is able to handle margin work as well as open water fishing on many commercials. Is has a great balance of power and performance, and will handle fishing with even the heaviest Hydro elastics, such as when catching big commercial carp down the margins.
The A-Class 9.5m Power Pack includes a 9.5m True Extension; two 5.8mm Carp Power Kits; and a Cupping Kit.
A-Class 8m Margin Pole
The A-Class 8m Margin Pole is very powerful, but also gives you the extra length when you need to fish to features further along the margins. It’s designed for fishing for carp with heavy elastics, and is very versatile thanks to the reversible 6m/8m True Extension which fits the top two sections of this pole. It comes supplied with one 5.8mm Carp Power Kit.
A-Class 5.5m Margin Pole
This is the shortest pole in the A-Class range at 5.5m and is the perfect option for shorter range fishing down the margins, for larger fish, as it packs the power and strength that you need for this type of fishing, but is still very responsive. It comes supplied with a 5.8mm Carp Power Kit that can be used with even the heaviest Hydro elastics.
A-Class Top Kits
Three different generic A Class Top Kits are available, which will fit any of the poles in the A-Class range and will cover everything from catching small fish on light elastics, right the way through to landing big commercial carp on the heaviest Hydro elastics. There is a 3.5 Match Kit; a 4.7mm Match Power Kit; and a 5.8mm Carp Power Kit, and they comes ready to use with internal bushes already fitted, so there is no messing about having to cut them back to fit your own. These are generic and can be used with any of the Aventus poles as well should you want a cheaper top kit option.
A-Class Extensions
There are four True Extensions in the range, which have been reinforced for extra strength, and are specifically designed such that they bring the A-Class poles to the exact stated length – especially important for the 13m and 11.5m versions where they are being used in domestic, or even international, matches that have strict pole lengths. There is a choice of True Extensions in 13m, 11.5m, 9.5m, and a reversible 6/8m version.
A-Class Cupping Kit
The A-Class Cupping Kit measures 2.33m in length, which may sound incredibly precise but it has been specifically designed such that when one of the Guru Rapid Release Pole Cups is fitted to it (the cup and Rapid Release Adaptor – which needs to be glued on using Araldite or Gorilla Epoxy - are sold separately and don’t come as part of the kit), this is the exact same length as all the top kits in the range and there is no need to cut it back.
