Guru boss Adam Rooney described his excitement for this year's event and how the venue, people, and fishing made it a "perfect" event.

Adam Rooney: "I am really looking forward to this year's Classic over in Ireland! Last year was one of my favourite trips ever! The fishing was incredible. The accommodation, location, and organisation were all perfect, but best of all, the atmosphere and people are what make it so special."

He continued to describe his admiration for the event: "For me, it was one of the best competitions I've fished in a long time. Some of the best anglers in Europe were competing, and if you dropped on them, you would have a day to remember! It's an honour to be able to support such a nostalgic event, and I can't wait to get back!"

This prestigious event, a highlight of the match coarse fishing season, continues to grow in stature and appeal. The Fermanagh Classic Fishing Festival draws participants from Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Great Britain, Germany, and beyond. Anglers will compete in the flagship tournament—the Classic—on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The King of the Erne competition, hosted on Monday and Friday, also allows participants to fish across the renowned Erne system, offering a week of competitive angling.
