How To - Load A Hyrbid Feeder Beginner

Here is a simple how-to guide for perfectly loading your hybrid feeder, which can be incredibly effective at various venues.

You Will Need

Mainline Match Dumbell Wafters 10mm

Mainline Match Activated Coarse Pellets 2mm

Mainline Match Sticky Syrup

Korda Goo

Hybrid Feeder

Step 1

Attach your hook bait

Attach your Mainline Match Dumbell Wafters using the bayonet to your hybrid feeder rig. Test it in some water to ensure it is critically balanced.

Step 2

Add some pellets

Next, add the first layer of pellets. Ensure the first layer of pellets is firmly pressed and even to create a level surface. You can also prepare your pellets with some Mainline Match Sticky Syrup for extra attraction and colour. Step 3

Position your hook bait

Then, position the hook with the point facing upwards towards the fish's mouth.

Step 4

Add more pellets

Gently add another layer of pellets to cover your hook bait and hook. Mold the bait evenly around the top of the feeder, creating an aerodynamic shape.

Step 5

Add some Goo

Lastly, apply a generous amount of your chosen Goo flavour to the outside of the feeder just before casting. It will create a large column of flavour, scent and colour in the water to attract the fish.
