Rob is from the Lake District, Carlisle, and starting fishing at 8 years old catching his first fish, a roach, from Lonsdale Park Fishery in Cumbria with his dad. Gathering love for the sport, he began fishing some junior matches and joined the Guru Match Academy, winning the event and gaining a 1-year sponsorship from Tackle Guru when he was just 14. This sponsorship blossomed and continues to this very day! He’s already been in some big events including two Fish‘O’Mania Finals, the Fish North Final, On The Flyer TV Final and more, and his aim is to win one of the major UK events like this. For work, Rob is a content creator for Catch More Media, producing and presenting several angling productions for this popular channel
