We are proud to introduce the flagship Tackle Guru Aventus R rod range, the distinguished successor to our widely acclaimed flagship Aventus series. The "R" designation signifies "Reborn," representing a comprehensive evolution in rod design and manufacturing excellence. Through the integration of cutting-edge materials and refined engineering principles, the Aventus R series establishes a new benchmark for performance, durability and precision. This is more than an upgrade; it's a complete reimagining of what an elite fishing rod can achieve.

Aventus R – Feeder Range 

The Aventus R Feeder range comprises eight specialist rods engineered to cover all aspects of modern feeder fishing. The collection begins with 10ft and 11ft two-piece feeder rods, complemented by 10ft and 11ft Distance variants for increased power and versatility. The range continues with a 12ft two-piece model, followed by a brand new 12ft three-piece rod, and is completed with 13ft and 14ft Distance feeder rods for extreme distance work.

All models feature premium specification throughout, including Fuji TVS and DPS Downlocking Reel Seats, Premium Grade Armlock Cork Handles, and Guru Ergonomic EVA Rear Grips. The 10ft and 11ft standard models are fitted with Zero90 LT Carbon Quivertips, while the Distance Feeder rods are equipped with the new Aventus DT Quivertips, featuring Fuji KW Anti-Tangle Guides with Alconite Rings for enhanced longevity and performance when fishing at range. 

Aventus R – 12ft and 13ft Distance Feeder

The 12ft and 13ft Aventus R Distance Feeder rods feature a slightly stiffer, faster action blank compared to the previous Aventus generation. Through the rigorous implementation of Zero90X and RJS technologies, we have improved blank performance by drastically reducing torque.

This reduction results in more accurate casting at range without compromising the fish-playing action. The progressive curve ensures hook-holds are maintained even with smaller hooks. Additionally, a brand new 12ft 3-piece version has been introduced to the Aventus R lineup. This model features a slightly softer tip section than its 12ft 2-piece counterpart, making it the ideal choice for delicate presentations when targeting bream, skimmers, and quality roach on natural venues. The more forgiving tip action proves particularly advantageous when fishing smaller hooks, while the convenient 3-piece configuration makes transportation and storage considerably easier.

Aventus R – Advanced Technologies 

Zero90X Carbon Technology

The Zero90X Carbon Technology represents a significant upgrade over the original Zero90 material found in the previous generation. This advancement involves the strategic addition of a new carbon layer featuring X-weave fibres positioned specifically between the zero-degree and 90-degree carbon sheets. This intricate composite structure creates a completely new blank architecture that significantly reduces twisting and torquing forces that naturally occur during casting.

By minimising the natural deviation of the blank when under maximum compression, the Zero90X technology produces a much faster-action blank. This critical reduction in torque allows the rod tip to recover more quickly, enabling anglers to achieve significantly longer casting distances, with more control and accuracy. Furthermore, because the blank resists twisting, the energy transfer is linear and direct, resulting in substantially improved accuracy. 

RJS – Rigid Joint System 

To ensure structural consistency and power transfer throughout the entire length of the rod, we have integrated Zero90X material within the Reinforced Ferrule (RF) at each joint. This engineering innovation, termed the RJS Rigid Joint System, facilitates a seamless, power-progressive blank curve that mimics the feel of a one-piece rod.

The primary benefit of the RJS system is the elimination of "flat spots" or stiff points typically found at joint connections. This ensures excellent fish-playing action, maintaining the rod's integrity under heavy load. For the angler, this translates to a smoother fight, better cushion against lunging fish, and increased confidence when playing larger species on lighter tackle.

Aventus DT Quivertips

The Aventus DT (Distance Taper) quivers have been meticulously developed using high-quality Japanese carbon solid tips. These premium indicators are fitted with Fuji KW Anti-Tangle Guides, ensuring the quiver tip blends seamlessly with the main rod blank in terms of both action and aesthetics.

Crucially, a Fuji LG Tangle Free tip guide has been installed to mitigate line wraps around the delicate end of the quiver. This enhancement significantly improves reliability and performance during active fishing sessions, particularly in adverse weather conditions. The range of tips offers options suitable for everything from delicate silver fish work to heavy-duty distance feeder fishing.
